We are delighted to announce an exciting upcoming development plan, which will bring 57 new homes to our Altbridge Park plot in Croxteth. The site sits nearby to some great amenities including schools, retail parks, major bus routes into the city centre, and industrial estates with a variety of businesses operating.
If you have been following our journey here at Cobalt you might remember that we demerged from a group in 2017, to enable us to focus on the local communities in North Liverpool in which we operate. We made a commitment to tenants that we would focus on growing the number of homes we manage in these areas, and work with residents to understand the types of homes they need to ensure the accommodation we offer meets the changing needs of our tenants.
The Altbridge Park site gives Cobalt our first development opportunity since demerger which is completely designed and delivered by us. It has enabled us to build homes that meet the real needs of our tenants and gives us the chance to create unique properties that will be fit for the future too, by ensuring they are all wheelchair accessible.
Jay Siadankay, Head of Development and Regeneration at Cobalt Housing said:
“This development will be much more than just houses; we will be providing spacious, high quality, accessible and affordable homes in a thriving community. We’re really excited as this is the first of many new build schemes that we have in our pipeline for the coming months, providing much needed homes in the neighbourhoods we serve”.
Any questions?
These new homes in Croxteth are still in the early planning stages as we seek the contractors to work on this project with us, but if you have any questions about the development, you can email [email protected], and one of our Development team will be in touch.
For interested contractors, we’d urge you to register with our e-tendering portal here.
