From today (Tuesday 22nd September) Merseyside and other areas of the North West enter a local lockdown. We’ve put together some advice on the latest rules and restrictions that you can read by clicking here.
We would like to reassure our tenants that at the moment there is no change to our current services, however, we will continue to monitor government advice and update our tenants and local community members as soon as we can. The best way to keep in touch with any updates is to make sure you’re following our social media pages on Twitter and Facebook @CobaltHousing
Our staff will keep their distance, we’re kindly asking our tenants to do the same
When undertaking a repair or other essential works in your home our Cobalt Plus teams and contractors will take the following precautions when in your home to make sure everyone is safe:
- If you have been advised to self-isolate or if you or a member of your household has been diagnosed with COVID-19 please call our team on 0330 303 2222 so we can update our records
- All our staff will wear the appropriate PPE
- We will use hand sanitiser before, during and after leaving your home
- When in your home our teams will be social distanced away from you, and kindly ask you to step into another room whilst we complete the works
- We will only touch the items that need repairing and/or testing
To help keep our staff and yourselves safe we would like to reiterate that it is important that you tell our team if you are self-isolating or have tested positive for COVID-19. When our staff or contractors are in your home we’re kindly reminding our tenants that you must step into another room, and stay the government recommended distance away from our team.
As your local housing association we have a duty of care to our communities, and we would like to reassure our communities that we will always put your health and wellbeing first.
We would like to again thank our tenants and communities for their patience as this crisis continues.
Stay safe everyone,
Team Cobalt
