COVID-19 Notice

We would like to reassure or tenants’ that our gas safety checks can be safely carried out within your homes with minimal risk to you.

As your landlord we have a duty of care to our tenants’ and community members and as always, our tenants’ safety remains at the forefront of everything we are doing.

With social distancing measures in place, more of our tenants’ are now spending more time at home and it is essential that our gas and other essential checks are carried out, to make sure our tenants’ and their neighbours are safe. We are still legally obliged to carry out these checks by the Health and Safety Executive as the risk remains the same despite COVID-19 and the current local lockdown restrictions in Merseyside.

Please don’t ignore any letters

If you have tested positive for COVID-19, have been medically advised to shield or have been advised to isolate by the NHS track and trace line you must call us on 0330 303 2222. At any service, the engineer will assess if they can complete the service safely based on your current household situation. If they can not complete safely in line with Government restrictions, they will abandon the service and re-book for an appropriate time when they can. You will not be penalised for a service which needs to be abandoned due to your current COVID-19 situation, but you need to keep in touch with us so we can update our records.

We are kindly asking all tenants who have been medically advised to self isolate to provide evidence of the medical letter to our compliance team. Tenants’ can email a photograph of their evidence to [email protected], if you do not have access to an email address please call 0330 303 2222 and ask to speak to our compliance team.
