Getting back into routine after the festive period can be a difficult time for us all. January also puts a lot of pressure on our finances, which can cause stress and anxiety that directly impacts our mental wellbeing.

It’s really important that you take time for yourself this January. Self-care can be taking a step back, spending time alone, making time to do things you enjoy, putting yourself first, setting boundaries or asking for help and support.

We want to learn more about our Cobalt community’s self-care activities over on our Facebook and Instagram pages! Whether you go for run, try and stay hydrated, listen to music or get an early night, drop your self-care tips in the comment section below for the chance to win a highstreet voucher!

If you are struggling this January, there are a number of support services you can call including:

  • Merseycare – 0800 145 6570 (urgent support for people age 16+)
  • Kooth Liverpool – 0151 293 3577 (support for young people age 10-25)
  • Samaritans – 116 123
  • CALM – 0800 58 58 58

Our team are also here to help on 0330 303 2222 if you are struggling with money, rent payments, food, clothing or anything else.

Was there someone missing from your Christmas celebrations? Has someone gone quiet or distanced themselves since the new year?

#BlueMonday is also a great opportunity to check in with others. Stay connected – drop them a message, give them a call or swing by to see if they’re okay. If you are concerned about someone you know, you can also find lots of useful advice and information over on Samaritans website by clicking here.

Please note, you must be able to collect your prize from our Lower House Lane office if you are selected as one of our winners. For our full T&Cs detailing guidance and rules for social media, please click here.
