The Department for Work and Pensions is writing to people whose tax credits or benefits are ending. If you receive a letter notifying you to move over to Universal Credit, you must do so by the date on the letter or your existing benefits will stop.
If you have a disability benefit with additional premiums, it’s important that you DO NOT move over to Universal Credit until you receive your letter, as you may lose your transitional payment period.
