The law around social housing is changing and part of the Social Housing Regulator’s role is to check landlords are providing good housing and services, and one of the ways they do this is through their Consumer Standards.

As a valued customer, we’re inviting you to attend Social Housing Standards Consultation sessions being held at Cobalt Housing to discuss the new rules, which include:

• Checking homes are safe and in good condition
• Fixing repairs
• Involving customers in plans and decisions
• Dealing with complaints fairly and quickly
• Keeping neighbourhoods safe and nice places to live
• Supporting tenants with domestic abuse or those affected by anti-social behaviour
• Helping customers to live in their homes for longer
• Understanding Customers’ needs
• Involving customers in plans and decisions
• Supporting customers who want to swap homes

We’re looking forward to sharing the plans with you and listening to what you think about your homes, and our services, so we know what we need to do better.

Consultation sessions will take place at our Cobalt Housing office on Lowerhouse Lane on:

Thursday 5th October – 5.00 – 6.30 pm
Friday 6th October – 12.30 – 2.00 pm
Monday 9th October – 12.30 – 2.00 pm
Tuesday 10th October – 5.00 – 6.30 pm

Come and join us for cake and coffee and tell us your thoughts.
