This summer, we’re excited to invite all young adventurers and their families to explore the beautiful local green spaces of Norris Green. Our Norris Green Passport Competition is a fantastic opportunity to discover hidden natural patterns, enjoy outdoor activities, and win amazing prizes!
The Norris Green Passport Competition is a fun event encouraging children to explore four special locations in our community. Hidden logs containing metal plates with unique natural patterns are placed in each location. Children are invited to make pencil rubbings of these patterns and complete their competition entry forms for a chance to win exciting prizes.
Join Us
The Cobalt team will be hosting events at each of the four locations. Join us for a day of fun, games, and free goodies while you explore the green spaces and complete your rubbings.
You’ll be able to collect a competition entry form from our team too.
Events:
- Scargreen Recreational Ground: 25 July, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Scarisbrick Road Green: 30 July, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Mentmore Green: 6 August, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Stalisfield Green: 13 August, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
To participate, follow these simple steps:
- Visit the four special locations and collect a competition form from a Cobalt team member.
- Find the metal plates: Look out for logs with metal plates around each green space. These plates have unique patterns that you can rub.
- Create your plate rubbings: Using a pencil or crayon and the competition entry form provided by Cobalt staff, make a rubbing of the pattern from each location.
- Complete your entry form: Ensure you collect rubbings from all four locations and fill in your name, address, and age.
- Submit your entry: Hand in your completed entry form at the Cobalt office, located at 199 Lower House Lane, Liverpool, L11 2SF, by Friday, 16th August, 5 pm.
All completed entries will be entered into a prize draw. The lucky winners will be informed on Monday, 19th August and can look forward to:
- 1st Place: Family pass to Otterspool Play Centre
- four runners up: £15 gift cards
