Thank you to everyone who supported us with our Croxteth Community Clean-up Day. Our Croxteth Neighbourhood Team joined up with local primary school children and Councillor Anthony Lavelle from Liverpool City Council (LCC) to clear the area.
Pupils and teachers from Our Lady and St Swithin’s Catholic Primary School and Croxteth Community Primary School completed a litter pick of the Croxteth Community Garden.
Together with LCC, we provided six skips for local residents to dispose of bulky items.
“We’d like to give a big thank you for everyone getting involved. The Family Matters staff were thrilled with the excellent job that the children did to clean the area. It was a cold day but the sun was shining and everyone got their steps in,” said Anita Kenton, our Croxteth Community Lead.
The Croxteth clean-up event is one of many initiatives we’re taking action to keep our communities clean.
Along with resolving any outstanding compliance issues in our customers’ homes, our Neighbourhood Housing Team used this opportunity to ask for their feedback as part of our Big Listen visits, helping to shape our future services.
