About the role:
Cobalt Housing requires a Multi-Skilled Joiner to join Cobalt Housing Property Services; servicing homes across Fazakerley, Norris Green, and Croxteth, the successful candidate will report into the Supervisor’s Operative and join a friendly and supportive team.
Role summary:
This position will involve working as part of a team to provide a comprehensive service to Cobalt’s tenants and neighbourhoods, with a specific focus on tenancy and environmental services. The role will be centred on maintaining homes and communities by supporting Cobalt’s Response Repairs, Voids, and Planned Maintenance Programs while maintaining a high level of customer service. It is crucial to ensure that work is completed within established timeframes, in compliance with health and safety regulations, and always striving to achieve customer satisfaction.

In return, Cobalt Housing Property Services offers 23 working days per annum (based on a 5-day working week) plus bank holidays, plus 3 additional days for Christmas shutdown, up to 3 additional holidays added with length of service, and holiday buyback of up to 5 days unused holiday at the end of the entitlement year. Cobalt Housing Property Services has a 37.5-hour standard working week Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 however, our operating hours are 08:00 – 20:00 to allow for flexible working arrangements.

Working within a busy team, the Customer Service Officer will be responsible for acting as the first point of contact for all Cobalt customers, providing a high quality of service is delivered at all times and ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with promptly, in line with agreed targets. Proficient communication skills are key for this role, as you will also regularly liaise with other departments, contractors and partner agencies as appropriate to resolve enquiries.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience of dealing with the public in a service capacity, strong problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team. You should be able to work on your own initiative and will adhere to and promote Cobalt values and behaviours.

Your work will contribute directly to our Responsive Repairs, Voids, and Planned Maintenance Programmes, helping us ensure our properties are safe, and well-maintained, where our customers are proud to live.
