If you’ve reported anti-social behaviour to us and we haven’t taken action to resolve it, you can apply for a case review.
The case review is set out in Sections 104 and 105 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 and allows you to ask for a review of your ASB case. As a housing association, we must cooperate with the process.
A case review does not interfere with your right to follow our internal complaints or ASB procedure. Both processes can run at the same time.
In order to apply for a case review, at least one of the following must apply:
- You must have made at least three reports of separate incidents of anti-social behaviour to Cobalt Housing; or
- Five people in the local community must have complained about similar incidents in the last 6 months; or
- If the incident is a hate crime, you must have complained at least once in the last 6 months.
Activating a case review
If your request does not meet the case review threshold, you will be informed by email within 10 working days of submitting the form.
If it does meet the threshold, a case review meeting will be held within 20 working days. Liverpool City Council will email you with the case review findings 10 days after the review was held.
Case reviews are handled by Liverpool City Council
