Our Tenancy Wellbeing Team can help if you:
- are worried about money
- would like support with poor mental health
- need support with alcohol or drug misuse
- would like to be better connected to your community
- are worried about hoarding or collecting
- have little or no contact with other agencies.
The team has supported more than 250 Cobalt customers to maintain their tenancies and access vital services. They listen and support without judgement to ensure that the right support is in place.
“Thank you so much, I can’t wait to have the heating on for a little bit. I am so grateful that you’ve helped me, I am finding it hard at the moment, being a single mum, sorting money for food and gas, paying my rent and bills and looking after my son who has ADHD. It’s hard, so thanks for your help.”
Support to access our services
We are committed to supporting you to access our services; the Equality Act 2010 requires us, as your landlord, to provide you with ‘reasonable adjustments’ – this means we will, where possible, change the way we do something, or offer extra support, that will help you to access our services or live comfortably within your home.
There is no prescribed list of reasonable adjustments; the adjustment will depend on your individual needs. We will discuss the requirements with you and seek to reach agreement on what may be reasonable in the circumstances.
If you need a reasonable adjustment, please contact us.
If, for whatever reason, we can’t provide a reasonable adjustment, we will discuss this with you and try to find an alternative solution.
