Repair responsibilities

This incudes:

• Doors and windows
• Roof and chimney
• Drains and gutters
• Walls and fences that we have installed
• Communal areas
• Maintaining the footpath, driveway and the area immediately outside your front door

This incudes:

• Central heating systems and other ways to keep your home warm
  including repairs to your boiler, radiators and gas/electric systems
• Plumbing
  including water leaks and repairs to pipes, water tanks and taps
• Electrics
  including repairs to light fittings, switches, wiring
• Joinery
  including repairs to doors, skirting boards, floorboards, stairs and cupboards

This incudes:

• rising and penetrating damp
• ventilation systems, such as extractor fans

• Painting and wallpapering to the inside of your home
• Tightening screws on doors, cupboards and fittings
• Unblocking sinks and toilets
• Bleeding radiators
• Replacing plugs in sinks and the bath
• Replacing the toilet seat
• Changing lightbulbs

• broken windows or damaged internal doors

Including:

• Cutting grass, trimming bushes, removing weeds and disposing of all cuttings
• Removing any rubbish from garden areas and from any alleyway between homes

Repairing or replacing white goods (fridge, freezer, washing machine, etc) that belong to you.

We recommend taking out home contents insurance to protect your belongings.

If you would like us to change the locks, we will charge for this service.

You are responsible for services to your home, including broadband, telephone, tv aerial, satellite dishes, etc
