Please remember it is an offence to fly-tip on Cobalt, council or private-owned land.

Fly-tipping is a breach of your tenancy agreement, and if you are caught, you could be issued with a fine.

We’d like to say a big thank you to tenants who are getting in touch with us to report offenders. Fly-tipping is never acceptable, and with your help we can ensure those responsible are penalised.

If you need to dispose of large items, Bulky Bob’s Liverpool offer a free collections service for Liverpool City Council residents. You can request up to five bulky items per individual property, up to five small electrical items and up to five bags of textiles (clothes, belts, shoes, handbags) per collection.

Bulky Bob’s also collect all white goods and electrical items, working or not, but please specify if your items are still working as these can be tested and given to local families in need. To request a collection, please click here.

Don’t forget, local tips now close at 5pm until April 2023:

• Old Swan Household Waste Recycling Centre, Cheadle Avenue, L13 3AF (8am-5pm)
• Kirkby Household Waste Recycling Centre, Depot Road, L33 7UZ (8am-5pm)
