Digital access isn’t just about technology – it’s about opportunity, independence and connection. That’s why our Digital Inclusion Matters session was so important.

In partnership with the Liverpool City Region (LCR), we invited 10 customers who reported being digitally excluded to participate in a free ‘Login Digi’ session aimed at improving their digital confidence.

What the session offered

The session was delivered as part of LCR’s Pillar One (Core Offer), which provided:

  • A brand-new digital device
  • Six months of Vodafone connectivity
  • A supportive three-hour in-person digital training session

By the end of the session, every participant successfully completed their training and was able to take home their device and free connectivity. For many, this was their very first step toward being online safely and confidently.

More than just digital skills

As we introduced customers to our broader offer at the Hub, some signed up for further activities, including:

Budgeting Skills Course
Armchair Exercise Class

Both programmes start next week and will help customers build financial literacy and maintain wellbeing.

A standout moment from the day came from one customer who has progressed to become a ‘train-the-trainer’ volunteer, supporting others on their digital journey with the help of LCR.

Demand is growing

The success of the session means we now have a waiting list for the next round of digital support. Our team is currently preparing the next application to LCR, and we hope to continue our role as a strategic partner in widening digital inclusion across the region.
