Rent to Buy is a government-funded scheme, aimed at people want to save to buy a home while they are renting.

You pay rent at a reduced rate, meaning you can save a deposit to buy your home in the future. 

To be eligible for Rent to Buy, you must: 

  • Be employed
  • Earn less that £80,000
  • Pass a tenancy reference check
  • Want to buy a home in the future
