The Good Help Hub, bringing together a range of partner organisations including Merseyside Police, NHS teams, Job Centre staff, Liverpool City Council, Citizens Advice Bureau and others announces 12-week extension.

The Good Help Hub launched in January, bringing together a range of partner organisations to offer a new type of support service to local residents, including Merseyside Police, NHS teams, Job Centre staff, Liverpool City Council services, Citizens Advice Bureau and many more.

To date, we’ve had over 350 visitors to the hub, and we’re seeing footfall increase every week with people coming in to talk to us about everything from housing and cost of living advice, to jobs and mental health support.

It’s clear to us that a community hub bringing a range of partners together in one place as a ‘one stop shop’ is working well to offer much needed support, referrals and a safe, warm space where people feel safe.

Each partner we’ve been working with has expressed a direct benefit to both their service, and the outcomes for their customers, and we’re delighted to confirm that we are going to be continuing to run the hub for a further 12 weeks.

This week, members of the hub team and Cobalt Housing showcased the excellent work to members of central government, and met with other organisations from across the UK who are launching community hub facilities in different locations and were keen to learn from our project findings.

The project was funded by the HM Treasury’s Shared Outcomes Fund through a Partnerships for People and Place initiative as part of the levelling up agenda.
