Inspiring entrepreneurs were given the opportunity to network and receive free advice at a ‘Business Breakfast’ event, held in our Community Hub.

Leading business advisors from Liverpool City Council provided essential information about setting up a business, available funding and information about filing tax returns. Cobalt Neighbourhood Manager, Barry Fearnehough, spoke about the range of local business support services available in our communities.

The Early Years Team, a specialist team of social workers, were also on hand to talk about childcare support benefits for business owners.

The event, hosted by Liverpool City Council’s Business Support Service and Business Intellectual Property Centre (BIPC), provided practical advice and support for new and existing businesses in the area.

Rona Heron, our Community Hub Lead said, “The Business Breakfast was delivered through the Business Support Service at Liverpool City Council, providing fully-funded support to Liverpool residents looking to create a new business, or to businesses already based in the city.

We’re proud to be able to host this in the heart of Croxteth, in our Community Hub. This provides a relaxed and welcoming setting for people to meet our friendly teams, chat with others and embrace their business potential.”

Future Business Breakfast meetings will be held in our Community Hub at 199 Lower House Lane, L22 2SF. Watch this space!
