As part of the government’s Partnership for People and Place (PfPP) initiative, we were asked to present at this year’s Civil Service Live events in Cardiff, sharing the success of the ‘Good Help Hub’ as a guest speaker during the ‘Building Partnerships to Change Communities and Improve Lives’ workshop, which was one of 120 thought provoking, interactive sessions.

The event hosted over 2,100 delegates and 360 guest speakers, and we were the only representative of all the 13 pilot PfPP projects across the UK to be speaking. We were also asked to hold two interactive sessions due to the number of delegates registered for this workshop.

Over 200 Civil Service representatives from across government offices as well as private sector partners attended our workshops to listen, learn and discuss the great work being carried out by Cobalt and our partners to support thriving communities and develop excellent partnerships.

We are committed to building on the success of the Good Help Hub by investing in the development of a new ‘Community Hub’ which will continue to bring together a range of partner organisations to offer a new type of support service to local residents, including Merseyside Police, NHS teams, Job Centre Liverpool City Council services, Citizens Advice, Transform Lives and many more.

We were also delighted to be credited by Liverpool City Council recently, as it announced its plans for a new neighbourhood model, citing the Good Help Hub’s successes as influencing the plans: https://liverpoolexpress.co.uk/council-seeks-to-transform-delivery-of-key-services/

To date we’ve had over 750 visitors to the GHH and have reached 1200 people via social media, with 70% of users being a Cobalt Tenant.

Thank you to all that have been involved.
