A special mention to Eileen Johnson, who at nearly 89, placed second in our competition and shared how much her garden means to her. Mrs Johnson even provided us with a helpful tip for other budding gardeners, “Put empty bottles on top of poles to prevent you poking your eye out in case you fall!”
Harry Sperry of Norris Green was equally thrilled to hear the news that he had received ‘Highly Commended’ in two categories, including Best Eco/Sustainable Garden and third place in the ‘Best Eco/Sustainability’ category.
Thank you to everyone who entered – your gardens are a testament to the pride and passion in our community.
Let’s keep growing together!
