Conference

We’re proud to have showcased our Big Listen Project at the Tenant Voice 2025 Conference, where we explained how your feedback helped shape our new Customer Strategy and strengthened tenant involvement across Cobalt.

The conference, organised by the Northern Housing Consortium (NHC) with YD Consultants, brought together customers, landlords, regulators, and housing leaders from across the North. Over two mornings, the event focused on why listening to customers matters – and how it can influence housing services, policy, and community outcomes.

What we talked about

Our colleagues Christine Simpkin, Ryan Shelswell, and Customer Network member Leah led a session called Leading Change, where we shared:

  • How we reached out and listened to 75% of our customers through the Big Listen.
  • What your feedback told us – and the quick changes we’ve already made.
  • How the Big Listen helped us grow our Customer Network and create new ways for you to get involved.
  • How your voice is shaping our plans for the new Customer Strategy.

The conference was recorded online, so you can catch up anytime.
