Job Title: Sundry Debt Officer
Salary: £34,352.45 per annum

About the role
Cobalt Housing is looking to appoint a Sundry Debt Officer, to join our Housing Management team. Based in our Croxteth HQ, the successful candidate will report into the Neighbourhood Manager for Fazakerley.
Role Summary
The main responsibility of the role is to reduce financial loss to the organisation by maximising the collection of sundry debts owed to us by current and former tenants. The successful candidate will be responsible for working through a list of cases via defined processes. They will also be required to refer cases to a debt collection agency where appropriate to support income collection into the organisation.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying debt that is not practical to pursue and provide information to support the Neighbourhood Manager to produce reports requesting write off these debts.
