Six months ago, Cobalt Board agreed to plans to bring our repairs service in-house. This decision was based on customer and colleague feedback and a need to improve the service we offer. 

We are delighted to officially launch our in-house repairs service, Cobalt Housing Property Services, who will work alongside external contractors Carroll Group and Penny Lane Builders to carry out repairs to our homes. 

Ian Hancock, Executive Director of Property, said: “The Improving our Repairs project has involved colleagues from across Cobalt, and I am inspired by how hard everyone has worked to bring the first phase of this project to completion. I am confident that these significant changes will make a positive difference to the service our customers receive.”
