We wore our best Christmas jumpers as we counted down to the festivities in our last Brekkie and Brew Friday of 2024.
Games, buffet and bingo were on offer as a Merry Christmas to our communities.
From Christmas carol singalongs to chatting with friends, attendees sported Santa hats and indulged in mince pies and nibbles, as everyone got into the festive spirit.
It’s been a fantastic year for Brekkie and Brew Friday, run by volunteers Julie, Dave and Peter since August 2023. Along with generating almost £500,000 in social value, Julie was highly commended for Tenant of the Year at the Northern Housing Awards, for her 30 years of dedication to making a difference in her community.
