Examples of anti-social behaviour include:
- neighbour disputes
- persistent noise nuisance
- verbal abuse
- animal nuisance
- threats of violence
- drug dealing
- hate crime
- domestic abuse.
Unacceptable and unreasonable behaviour towards our staff or contractors will be dealt with under our unacceptable behaviour policy.
Unacceptable behaviour towards staff or contractors
We will not accept aggressive or unreasonable behaviour towards our staff or contractors and will deal with any incidents under our unacceptable behaviour policy.
What is not ASB?
While some behavior may be a nuisance, it may not be classed as anti-social behaviour.
We do not consider the following to be ASB:
- Noise from children playing
- Family disputes
- Babies crying
- Smells from cooking, vaping, or smoking cigarettes
- Sounds of normal day to day living, such as opening and closing of doors or going up and down stairs
- One-off parties
- Minor personal differences
- Putting rubbish out on the wrong day or misuse of communal bins
- Parking issues, where it doesn’t to disability.
