We are delighted to welcome Claire Griffiths to Team Cobalt as our new Chief Executive this week. Claire joins us from Irwell Valley Homes, and has worked in the housing and regeneration sectors for over 30 years.
After graduating from the University of Liverpool, Claire’s early career began working with community housing co-operatives in Liverpool. Prior to Irwell Valley Homes, she worked at Liverpool-based housing association Plus Dane Housing, in roles including Executive Director of Property.
Claire said: “I’m hugely honoured and excited to be given the opportunity to lead this brilliant organisation in the next stage of its evolution and growth, serving and supporting the communities of Norris Green, Croxteth and Fazakerley.
It has been great to meet so many people so far, including some of our involved tenants and local partners, and I’m looking forwards to working closely with colleagues, tenants and residents, the Board and our partners in the City and City Region to make sure we deliver the best possible outcomes.”
Claire will also be at Norris Green carnival on Saturday 6th August, with the aim of meeting as many tenants and residents as possible, so please stop by our stand for a chat if you’re heading there!
