Loan sharks will often offer cash loans with no paperwork and add huge amounts of interest or APR to your loan, making it very difficult to clear any debt.
This week is Stop Loan Sharks Week, and we’re supporting Stop Loan Sharks campaign #LetsTalkLoanSharks by encouraging people to have open conversations about illegal money lending.
We will also be sharing lots of useful information to help residents spot the signs of illegal money lending, report a loan shark and access support if they have been affected.
