We’re inviting residents to come together for a Scargreen Community Action Day in Norris Green on Tuesday 16th June 2026. It’s a chance to make a real difference where you live and help keep our neighbourhood clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.
A Community Effort
We believe that strong communities are built by people who care. This Action Day is all about bringing residents and our team together to tackle litter, improve shared spaces, and create a cleaner, greener Scargreen.
Whether you can spare 10 minutes or a few hours, every bit of help makes a difference.
Free Skips Available
To make it easier to clear out unwanted items, free community skips will be available across the area:
- Ellergreen Road (opposite Buckwheat Drive)
- Scargreen Avenue (corner of Holmrook Road & by the grass)
- Corner of Cottesbrook Road & Hollingbourne Road
Skips will be available from 8:30am until around 4:00pm, giving you plenty of time to get involved.
Get Involved in the Litter Pick
Alongside the skips, we’ll be carrying out a community litter pick to tidy up local streets and green spaces. It’s a great opportunity to meet neighbours, take pride in your area, and help protect the environment.
Meet the Team
Our team will also be on hand throughout the day to chat and offer support. We can help with:
- Housing issues
- Property pool enquiries
- Anti-social behaviour concerns
It’s a great chance to ask questions, share feedback, and connect with the people who are here to support you.
A Little Thank You
We’ll have free goodies available for those who get involved – our way of saying thank you for helping make a positive impact in your community.
Event Details:
- Date: Tuesday 16th June 2026
- Time: Main event from 9:30am – 2:30pm
- Location: Scargreen Avenue, Liverpool, L11 3AY (with additional skip locations across the area)
Let’s Make Scargreen Cleaner and Greener
This is your chance to be part of something positive in your community. By working together, we can create a cleaner, safer, and more enjoyable environment for everyone.
We’d love to see you there – bring your neighbours and get everyone involved!
