We recently shared our latest customer newsletter, with important information about the refurbishment of our Lower House Lane office and how you can continue to access our services.

Here’s a summary of the key updates.

Lower House Lane will reopen in October

We had previously hoped to reopen our Lower House Lane office in June 2026. However, some parts of the refurbishment have taken longer than expected, and we now plan to fully reopen the building in October 2026.

The refurbishment will provide a modern, welcoming and accessible space for our customers, colleagues and the wider community.

The Cobalt Cabin is closing

The temporary Cobalt Cabin outside our Lower House Lane office will close from Wednesday 19th August while work is completed outside the building and in the car park.

All our services, including repairs, will continue as normal.

Face-to-face support in your neighbourhood

From Tuesday 25th August, our Neighbourhood and Tenancy Officers will be available at the following locations:

Fazakerley Federation and Library, Formosa Drive, L10 7QL
Day: Tuesdays
Time: Fazakerley Federation, 10am – 12pm
Time: Fazakerley Library, 12pm – 3pm
Triple C, Christ Church, Sedgemoor Road, L11 3BR
Day: Wednesdays
Time: 10am – 3pm
Croxteth Gems Community Centre, Armill Road, L11 4TR
Day: Thursdays
Time: 10am – 3pm

There’s no need to make an appointment – simply drop in if you would like to speak to us in person.

What to expect when we reopen

Our refurbished reception will be fully accessible and include two private rooms for appointments or confidential conversations. It will be open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

The building will also include a newly improved Community Hub, with accessible customer facilities, enhanced meeting spaces and its own dedicated entrance.
