To support the successful delivery of our ambitious Corporate Plan, we need to ensure that we attract and retain talented colleagues.

We use Investors in People to gather feedback on what it’s like to work at Cobalt and identify any areas where we need to improve.

Investors in People is an internationally recognised accreditation programme that provides a framework for assessing the performance of a company and improving workplace culture. It looks at factors such as employee engagement, communication, organisational culture and work practices.

Almost 80% of Cobalt colleagues completed our latest IIP survey, giving us a really good understanding of how our staff are feeling.

Feedback from our IIP assessment stated: “The culture is a collaborative and service centric one, with internal and external relationships grounded in the values of Putting People First, Taking Responsibility, Better Together and Moving Forward. Your ethos and values lead the way in everything you do, and it’s something your people really connect with.”

There are real areas of strength across Cobalt, including living our values, making a positive impact in our communities and empowering our colleagues to deliver meaningful change.

Claire Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are delivering an ambitious Corporate Plan that will have a positive impact on both our customers and communities. It’s vital that our colleagues feel valued and supported and I am delighted that we have retained our IIP Silver status.”
