We were honoured to have local artist Sarah Gustafsson at our community hub stakeholder event, where she unveiled her incredible wall art project.

Sarah who runs A.ur.Tistic and Dopamine Rooms CIC was commissioned to create the artwork and bring to life a ‘visual story’ of Cobalt, based on our AltFest event in November.

The amazing wall art consists of the four key priorities in our Corporate Plan:

  • Providing excellent customer services
  • Investing in quality homes
  • Supporting thriving communities
  • Developing positive people

It demonstrates what Cobalt stands for – Communities by the River Alt – alongside our vision for the future.

Sarah used the concept of a monopoly board, saying, “Monopoly to me is about community, building and maintaining houses. Being in this community myself, I see it from all different angles – from the person showing up to the meeting taking the minutes, to the customer who may be calling up for support in their homes.”

The artwork can be found in our new Community Hub, located in our office at Lower House Lane.

Rona Heron, Community Hub Lead said, “We’re so grateful to Sarah for creating this amazing wall art for us. Not only is Sarah one of our customers she’s also a valuable stakeholder. Her artwork represents a powerful reminder of everything Cobalt stands for and the essential work we’re doing to support the people in our communities.”
