What is retrofit?
Retrofit means upgrading existing homes with modern measures that improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. The benefits are clear: lower bills, warmer homes, and a greener future for everyone.
Our goal
We’re committed to achieving EPC C rating for all homes by 2030, ensuring every property meets high energy efficiency standards.
Funding streams
Our work is supported by the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF), including:
- Wave 2 and 2.1 EXT – delivering upgrades to hundreds of homes
- Wave 3 – confirmed funding of £6 million to improve 440 properties, introducing new measures such as Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) for cleaner, more efficient heating.

- ASHP installations – with video tutorials and real-life case studies from customers who’ve already seen the benefits
