We have unfortunately been made aware that a rouge trader offering tree cutting services has been targeting residents living in our neighbourhoods.

The man is know to ask for £150 upfront before leaving without carrying out any work.

Never be afraid to turn people away – you can always say no and shut the door on someone. You can also call Merseyside Police on 101 to report suspicious behaviour, but please remember to call 999 in an emergency .

We would like to say a huge thank you to tenants who continue to report scammers and rogue traders operating in our neighbourhoods. By alerting us, we can continue to make residents aware of what to look out for and who to get in touch with if they encounter a scam.

Scammers are clever and ruthless, so if you are ever unsure if someone is a Cobalt representative, please give us a call on 0330 303 2222 and a member of our team will be able to look into this for you.
