We joined staff and children from Monksdown Primary School on a community litter pick, removing large amounts of rubbish from school areas and the Stalisfield green space.

Elaine Gough, our ASB Officer for Norris Green North, said: “The children were conscientious and determined to clean up the area. It was inspirational to see.”

As a reward for their hard work, we arranged for the children to watch the Everton match at Goodison Park last Saturday. We’d like to send big thanks to Merseyside Police and Everton in the Community for sorting the prize.

Pupils designed community posters to raise awareness about the impact of littering. Three winners received a £15 voucher, and three runners-up each won a bag of chocolate. All pupils received a certificate for their good work. Well done to everyone involved!
