Before work starts, we will carry out a survey to assess the layout of your current bathroom. We may need to carry out an asbestos survey before work starts, and we will let you know if this is needed. If asbestos is found, it will be removed before work begins.
During a bathroom or wet room replacement, we will typically replace all items in your current bathroom. This can include replacing the sink, bath, extractor fan, toilet, tiles and flooring.
Our contractor will discuss the design of your new bathroom with you. It’s important to note that the bath, sink and toilet are standard white items, and you will not be given a choice for these. Once you have chosen your design, it can’t be changed or amended. We may need to upgrade your electrics and carry out plaster works, and we will explain everything to you if this is required.
Disruption
You will not be able to use your bathroom while the works are underway, but we will provide a working toilet and washing facilities before we leave your home at the end of each day.
Time
Fitting your new bathroom or wet room will take approximately 10 working days to complete.
