Window replacements
Before any work begins, one of our surveyors will visit your home to take accurate measurements, making sure your new windows are the perfect fit.
In some homes, we may also need to carry out an asbestos survey before installation. If this is required, we’ll let you know in advance and explain what to expect. If asbestos is identified, it will be safely removed before any work starts to help keep you and your home safe.
Once everything is ready, we’ll arrange a convenient installation date with you. Our contractor will carefully remove your existing windows and fit your new ones, making sure the work is completed to a high standard.
For some properties, scaffolding may be needed so the work can be carried out safely. If this is necessary, we’ll explain everything beforehand, including how it will be installed and how long it will be in place. Throughout the installation, we’ll ensure your home remains secure, and no windows will be left unsecured at any time.
Disruption
Our contractor will need access to the inside of your home while your windows are being replaced. To help the work go smoothly and keep everyone safe, please make sure any pets are kept secure during the installation.
Time
Replacing all the windows in your home usually takes up to two days. At the end of each working day, we’ll make sure your home is fully secure before leaving.
External door replacements
Before any work begins, one of our surveyors will visit your home to take accurate measurements, making sure your new doors are the perfect fit. Once everything is ready, we’ll arrange a convenient installation date with you.
Where available, you’ll also have the opportunity to choose the style of your new doors, helping you find an option that suits both your home and your personal preferences.
Disruption
To carry out the installation safely, our contractor will need full access to the front or rear of your home, depending on which door is being replaced. To help the work go smoothly, please keep the area around the door clear and make sure any pets are safely secured.
Time
Replacing a front door and a rear door usually takes up to one day to complete.
